G. I. Joe - konflikt Serpentora z dwódcą Cobry
Hm. Wpadł mi w ręce komiks G.I. Joe nr 4/94, w którym dowódca Cobry (spopularyzowany komandor) stoi ramię w ramię z Hawkiem i rozmawiają o tym jak posłali do piachu Serpentora. Czy mógłby ktoś naświetlić mi konflikt pomiędzy dowódcą, a rzeczonym Serpentorem? Dlaczego ten drugi został posłany do piachu przez swoich współtowarzyszy? Czy kiedykolwiek został wskrzeszony? Jak to możliwe, że Cobra współpracuje z G. I. Joe?
Za młodu miałem zaledwie kilka komiksów z tej serii i nie do końca rozumiem sensu tego sojuszu, ani tego czemu część ludzi z Cobry zwróciła się przeciw Serpentorowi...
While Serpentor was meant to be more of a figurehead, he was also ambitious, leading to power struggles between Serpentor and other members of Cobra. Serpentor contended with Cobra Commander impostor Fred VII.[volume & issue needed] Fred takes an immediate dislike to Serpentor and the two were often at odds. Their rivalry eventually escalated into the Cobra civil war, in which G.I. Joe was ordered to side with Serpentor to defeat the forces of Fred and the Baroness.[volume & issue needed] During the conflict, Serpentor met his end at the hands of Zartan; and was killed by an arrow to the eye.[volume & issue needed][3]
Years later, Serpentor's body was found and reanimated by renegade scientists and soon a secretive faction called The Coil formed. Serpentor targeted G.I. Joe and Cobra forces alike.

Czy to jest na pewno wersja z komiksu? Zartan kropnął Serpentora precyzyjną strzałą w oko, ale tło tego wydarzenia w przedstawionym linku wydaje mi się dosyć nieprawdopodobne. Szczególnie kontynuacja... czy ktoś czytywał G. I. Joe?
