Forza Motorsport 3 - nowe info, car list, ciecia w grze...

Wlasnie czytalem pare postow pewnego pana (Tofu R) , ktory jest ponoc pracownikiem studia T10. Niestety nie wyglada to najlepiej - duze ciecia w grze by dac rade na czas.

So...a broad overview:

Car content:

Most of the tuner cars are gone, with the exception of the Mugen Honda Civic and Integra and the Mine's R32 and R34 Skyline. Thankfully, that means the awful tuner car liveries are gone too.

For BrianJ:

1971 Skyline 2000GTR
R33 GTR

No R35 GTR, because they are a bunch of twatwaffles. Apparently the GTR team is independent from the rest of Nissan on many levels, one of them being licensing. The only way they would allow us to use the R35 was if it had no damage, no rollover, no custom wheels, no custom parts that improved performance, no painting, and no livery. So we said no thanks.

I think that's a net +1 to the Skyline count.

The usual suspects have also been added:

Corvette ZR1
'09 Cadillac CTS-V
370Z
Reventon
Ferrari California
Evo X
GR STI
Camaro
Veyron

etc....

If you like your wheels old school:

Fiat 131 Abarth
2nd gen Toyota Celica Supra
250 Testa Rossa
Aston Martin DB5

If you like shitboxes:

Versa
Yaris
Aveo
Xd

If you like Smokey and the Bandit or Knight Rider:

'79 Camaro Z28
'87 Firebird
'88 Camaro IROC-Z

If you like trucks:

Rang Rover Supercharged
Saleen S331 Supercab
Ram SRT10
Audi Q7
VW Toureg
Porsche Cayenne

If you like Italians:

Alfa 8C
Alfa Brera
Alfa Mito
Fiat 500 Abarth

If you like race cars:

Aston Martin Prodrive DB9s
997 and E92 BMW GT cars
Porsche, Acura, and Mazda LMP cars

Other interesting stuff:

ST205 Celica GT4
RS200 Evolution
'69 Dodge Charger Daytona
AMG SL65 Black
Renaultsport Twingo

Meh....that's all I can think of off the top of my head. If you ask about a specific car it may jog my memory.

As far as tracks go, the only big licensed one we added was Le Mans. Fujimikaido is back though and pretty cool, and we have some imaginary tracks that are a huge improvement over the older stuff.

The big change to the Livery Editor is that all cars, including race cars, are paintable now. Black on black on black Ferrari Prodrive 550 GT1 racecar looks awesome. That is all.

As far as rollover goes, what you saw in the first video is pretty hard to accomplish. It won't be like Burnout where every car to car contact will result in exploding rollover mayhem. It's actually fairly hard to do. So don't worry. While physics compromises were made in order to make the game "more fun" to a wider audience, it's still more simulator than arcade.

The "one button" racing mode is basically massive assists and auto braking. You still have to steer and hit the gas, but it's designed for super casual quasi car guys that just want to race a pretty car around a track. All assists can be progressively turned off if you like.

Customising has a new "quick option" that allows you to set a PI limit, then bias it in favor of speed or handling, and the game will select a set of upgrades for you. Should make getting a car tuned for a PI limit race easier for the uninitiated.

The DLC plan is for 10 cars a month for the next year. Some of the cars will be things that didn't make it into the release version, like the Ford Escort RS1800 - some will be new cars we haven't seen yet, like the Corvette Gran Sport. I haven't the slightest clue what the track DLC plan is.

That's about it for now off the top of my head that might be interesting to you guys. Cheers.

Poki co nie tak zle ale....

No 24 hour races if that's what your thinking.

Other things that got cut:

Weather
Night/day
Active aero (again!)
Widebody kits with 12 inch wheels
Some really cool driver animations
Some digital gauge animations
Custom underbodies (with rollover comes undercarriage modeling - unfortunately, all the cars use a generic layouts, so sometimes they are wrong; like the Lamborghinis have the transmission rearward of the engine instead of infront, etc.)
Super high level of detail car models in replays (Currently the super high detailed models are used in the UI homespace/garage, thumbnails, livery editor, and photo mode).
No exposed suspension cars like Ariel Atoms, Lotus 340Rs or Caterhams, even though T10 owns PGR and they had the tech to model working suspensions.

Most of the cuts came about because there is immense pressure to hit the release date. There are careers on the line with this one, because FM1 and FM2 were so late. There WILL be a game called FM3 ready to go for October, the only question has been what kind of game it will be.

No WTCC cars,

There will Australian Supercars though, both Holdens and Fords. And NASCAR cars in all their asymetrical glory

No nic, pozyjemy zobaczymy.
