This Java developer will work with product owners, architects and analysts to perform technical analyses and design solutions
• Design, develop & test application code
• Support the deployment of solutions
• Provide application support
• Work with the team to achieve higher levels by coaching on best practices, test driven development, continuous integration, continuous deployment…
More in detail we look for:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) preferred
• Software Development Experience – ability to demonstrate practical experience as an application software developer is required. Show ability to understand and translate the needs of business into application solutions.
• Software Life Cycle – experience with the life cycle used in a development organization and a solid understanding of software & release delivery and configuration/change management
• Technical Experience:
- Good Knowledge of OOP (object oriented programming), preferably Java / IntelliJ /Spring / SpringBoot experience
- Experience with build tools, preferably Maven / Docker
- “Awareness” of design patterns
- Good knowledge of a version control system, preferably Git
- Good knowledge of RDBMS, preferably Postgres and Oracle
- Knowledge of an application container, preferably Websphere
