Process Engineer

My client are a forward thinking manufacturing company who are a specialist in precision technologies and work into a number of different industries including medical, security, nuclear and space exploration.

This is a hands-on role whereby the successful candidate will be expected to learn and develop the manufacturing processes within the Instrumentation department, assist with production planning and work with the development team to create new products and transition them into production.

Main Duties will include:

• Previous experience of process development in a high technology manufacturing environment
• Proven experience of prioritising work and meeting deadlines under pressure
• Knowledge of and work experience with quality management systems / MRP systems
• Experience in generating product/process specifications and technical documentation to underpin the development and production of products

Skills and Experience Required:

• Degree in Engineering or Applied Science/equivalent in a Scientific or Technical discipline
• Clean room experience

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge – however training will take place in Harlow with a transition to the new manufacturing plant within 6 – 9 months and so this should be taken into consideration when applying.
Hours: Full Time: Mon – Fri (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Łnegotiable

Materials Controller

Are you an experienced Materials Controller looking for a position with varied duties and enjoy working within a production environment?

Do you have a good understanding of the control of materials / goods in and the quality processes to go alongside which ensure smooth running of production?

If yes then please read on!

Main Duties will include:

• A position with varied duties to include: Scheduling, Goods-In, Issuing materials, Shipping, Quality Inspection and Health & Safety.
• Ensuring that all goods in are logged and recorded in the correct manner and are received correctly, accurately counted and then relocated.
• Planning and providing production teams with all the necessary components to ensure production schedules are met.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

• Reviewing MRP and other scheduling spreadsheets to ensure that all production targets and deliveries are made on-time.
• Proactively reviewing schedules to highlight risks and propose preventative measures.
• Receiving all goods at warehouse.
• Raw materials to production.
• Confirming and checking shipments and correct documentation.
• Working within a lab/cleanroom environment to support production activities as required.
• Confirming incoming quality of parts.
• To ensure that all work carried out is in a safe and considered manner.

Desirable:

• 2/3 years experience in a materials control role within a production environment.
• Experience of over seeing stock levels / Kanban systems to prevent issues in manufacturing.

Location: Cambridge, however training will take place in Harlow (for approx. 6 months) before then being relocated to Cambridge.
Hours: Full Time: Mon – Fri

Process Technician

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Technician focused on production, process and quality?

Do you have a keen eye for detail and an analytical approach to everyday tasks?

Main Duties will include:

• To be part of a team responsible for manufacturing, inspecting and testing of products.
• Assisting in the production process as required.
• Be responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are followed to the required standard.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

• Use agreed documentation to make a variety of glass / plastic and other products in order to satisfy customer orders.
• In conjunction with the team leader, organise own work sequences, using the supplied job lists and Manufacturing Schedule (MMS) extract, to ensure all customer delivery dates are achieved on time and monthly sales target is met or exceeded.
• To use Factory Master for logging relevant to the technician’s area.
• Data Collection – completion of all run travellers, manual data logging sheets and spreadsheets on the PC relevant to the processes being worked on.
• Use the PC based snag-list to report any issues to Engineering.
• Assist in the production of Work Instructions, BoM and Route Cards that formally document our manufacturing processes and methods.

Team Working and Quality:

• To work within a team environment assisting other members, sharing workloads and communicating effectively amongst the team.
• Record agreed key process parameters.
• Adhere to all quality procedures set out in the Quality Manual.
• Assist in quality processes and recommend any corrective actions.

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm / 3pm – 10.30pm (37.5 hours)
Salary: Ł22,000 per annum

Jest rudy i ma brodę, ale jeśli nie stanowi to przeszkody, to podaj Drakul jeszcze jakiś kontakt, jeśli oczywiście uzna, że oferta odpowiada jego kwalifikacjom.

Account Manager

Duties include:

Initiate new, developing current and managing existing customer relationships.
Preparing and following up technical queries and quotations, uploading sales orders on the systems, dealing with customer complaints and after sales support.
Ensure that CRM and the key sales database are accurate and updated at all times.
Providing an outstanding level of customer service at all times.
Demonstrate an excellent insight in the customers’ needs and way of functioning.
Complete weekly outreach campaigns as agreed with Sales Director; proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling / up-selling with existing accounts; initiate contacts with new potentials and re-establish relationships with lost customers to grow the business.
Visit customers and attend external sales conferences and tradeshows, from time to time, to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of market developments.
Prepare datasheets, publicity materials and assist with the maintenance of the company website.
Assist with the necessary activities for attending or exhibiting at conferences and tradeshows (e.g. obtaining a shortlist of exhibitors; organising email blasts, preparing posters; booking and organizing the booth).
Contribute to and/or lead market research activities and other departmental improvement projects.
Provide support to Sales Director, including sales data, costings, general market feedback and other activities as required (e.g. support with key accounts / channels partners and marketing activities / reports); assist in the preparation of the sales revenue budget.

Skills and Experience required:

Able to work independently, set and meet own deadlines without day to day supervision.
